First Rep Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-26.What First Rep Stores
First Rep has no account or login service. Your selected language, reminder preferences, local device identity, encrypted photos, manually entered body measurements, and device-local encryption key stay inside the app on your device.
First Rep does not use advertising identifiers, third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or product analytics in this version.
Your Progress Photos
Progress photos are resized and encrypted on your device using AES-GCM with a device-local, non-exportable key. Photos and encryption keys stay inside the app's local WebKit data store. First Rep does not upload or transmit them.
You can delete individual photos at any time. Deleting the app or losing its local data removes access to the encrypted photos and can make them unrecoverable.
Body Measurements and BMI
After saving a photo, you choose whether to manually enter your height and weight for that photo or skip until a future photo. You can also add a manual record without a photo. First Rep does not use HealthKit and does not estimate or recognize your body, height, or weight from the camera or your photos.
Your height, weight, and any local link between a measurement and photo are encrypted with the same device-local, non-exportable AES-GCM key used for your progress photos. They stay inside the app's local WebKit data store and First Rep does not upload or transmit them.
Linked height, weight, and BMI appear as interface labels in the Photos view. First Rep does not write these values into the original photo or include them automatically when you export that photo.
BMI and progress trends are calculated only on your device from the values you enter. BMI is a general reference and is not medical advice or a medical diagnosis.
Camera and Sharing
Camera access is requested only after you choose to open the private camera. A photo is saved only after you press the shutter and confirm it. First Rep never shares a progress photo automatically.
When you long-press a photo in the all-photo gallery, First Rep opens the system share sheet with that local photo so you can choose Save Image or another destination. When you choose Share Comparison, the app creates a comparison image on your device and opens the same system share sheet or download action. You decide whether, where, and with whom to save or share either image. First Rep does not access your photo library directly, host a social feed, or receive the exported image.
Reminders and Purchases
If you enable reminders, their schedule is stored on your device and delivered through local iOS notifications. First Rep does not register your device for remote push notifications.
First Rep Lifetime Access is a non-consumable purchase processed by Apple. The app reads the App Store entitlement to unlock the complete app. First Rep does not receive your payment card details.
Deletion and Retention
First Rep has no online account to delete and does not retain a server copy of your progress records. You can delete individual photos and body measurement records inside the app. Deleting the app removes its remaining local data from the device.
Security and Changes
First Rep encrypts progress photos and body measurement records locally and does not send them to a developer-operated server. No method of local storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
If this policy changes materially, the updated date and policy will be published here before the changed processing applies.
