First Rep Support

Getting Started

First Rep does not require an account or sign-in. The free download opens to a one-time Lifetime Access purchase screen. There is no trial or free feature tier. After purchasing or restoring access, you can open Body Progress and add your first photo.

Camera and Photos

Open iPhone Settings and allow Camera access for First Rep. The preview starts only after you tap the camera permission button. Photos are saved only after you take and confirm them.

The all-photo gallery lets you review your local progress photos together while the existing two-photo comparison remains available. Progress photos are encrypted and stored only on this device. Deleting the app or clearing its data can permanently remove them because First Rep has no cloud backup.

Body Measurements, BMI, and Charts

After you save a progress photo, First Rep asks whether you want to enter height and weight for that photo. This is optional: choose Skip until next photo when you do not need another measurement. You can also add a manual check-in from Trends without taking a photo.

When you add body data with a photo, the Photos view shows that photo's height, weight, and locally calculated BMI, while Trends uses the same record in its chart. First Rep does not use HealthKit and does not estimate or recognize height, weight, or body measurements from the camera or your photos.

Height, weight, and the optional local photo link are encrypted with the same device-local, non-exportable AES-GCM key as your progress photos. BMI and progress charts are calculated only on this device, and the records are not uploaded.

BMI is a general reference, not medical advice or a medical diagnosis. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for medical guidance.

Reminders

Enable reminders in First Rep Settings, then allow notifications when iOS asks. If reminders stop, check the First Rep notification permission in iPhone Settings and enable the schedule again in the app.

Lifetime Access

Lifetime Access is one non-consumable Apple In-App Purchase that unlocks the complete app. The planned US launch price is US$2.99; the App Store displays and confirms the applicable local price. Use Restore Purchase on a device signed into the Apple ID that completed the purchase. Apple manages billing and refund requests.

Delete Local Records

Open a photo in the Photos view and use the delete control in the full-screen viewer. First Rep has no online account; deleting the app removes its remaining local data.

To remove a height and weight entry, use the delete control beside that entry in Measurement History. Removing a measurement also removes it from the local BMI and progress chart history.

Save A Photo

Press and hold any photo in the all-photo gallery, then choose Save Image in the iPhone share sheet. First Rep does not save to Photos automatically or access the rest of your photo library.
